How to choose frames that actually fit your face
The right frame disappears on your face and stays comfortable all day. Here is what to look for beyond the colour and brand name.

A great frame is the one you forget you are wearing. It sits gently on the bridge of your nose, does not pinch behind your ears, and looks like it belongs on your face. Getting there is part fit, part proportion, part lifestyle.
Start with face shape
Round faces tend to look balanced in angular frames such as rectangles and wayfarers. Square faces soften with round or oval shapes. Oval faces are the easiest to fit and can wear almost anything. Heart-shaped faces look great in bottom-heavy or rimless frames.
Mind the width
Your frame should be slightly wider than your face at the temples. The temple arms should not press in. If you see indentation marks at the end of the day, the frame is too tight.
Watch the bridge
African and Asian noses often have a lower bridge, and many imported frames are not built with this in mind. Adjustable silicone nose pads or a saddle bridge will sit much better and stop the frame from sliding down.
Match the frame to your life
If you are on the road a lot, lightweight titanium or flexible acetate is worth the spend. If you work in dusty environments, a fully rimmed frame protects the lens edge. For sports or active kids, look for spring hinges and silicone grip.
Then choose the lens
Photochromic lenses darken outdoors and are excellent in Uyo sun. Blue light filters help heavy screen users. Anti-reflective coatings reduce glare for night driving. Our optical team will guide you based on your prescription and budget.
