Cost should never be the reason anyone in Uyo skips a basic eye check. That is why every Saturday at Canon Eye Clinic we run a free eye screening for the community.
What the screening covers
A visual acuity check on both eyes, a basic external eye assessment, and a referral plan if any further investigation is needed. If you need a full refraction or specialist work-up, you will get a clear quote and can book on the spot.
Who it is for
Anyone. You do not need to register with the clinic first. We see students, traders, retirees and first-time patients every week. Children are welcome with a parent or guardian.
How to make the most of your visit
Come with any current glasses or previous prescriptions you have. If you are on medication for diabetes or blood pressure, mention it at registration as it affects what we look for.
