Glasses and prescription lenses in Uyo
An accurate prescription, frames that actually fit, and lenses chosen for how you really use your eyes.
Refraction about 30 minutes, dispensing the same day
Anyone needing a first pair, a prescription update, reading glasses, or a replacement for lost or damaged frames.

It starts with the prescription
Good glasses begin with an accurate refraction, not with the frame. We measure each eye separately, check how the two work together, and confirm the result feels comfortable in practice before writing the prescription.
A prescription written elsewhere is welcome, but if it is more than two years old we recommend a fresh refraction before dispensing.
Choosing frames and lenses
Our dispensary carries frames across a range of budgets, and we take the measurements that decide whether a pair will actually work: pupillary distance, frame width and how the frame sits on your nose and ears.
- Single vision lenses for distance or reading
- Bifocal and progressive lenses for presbyopia
- Anti-reflective and scratch-resistant coatings
- Photochromic lenses that darken outdoors
- Thinner high-index lenses for stronger prescriptions
Fitting and aftercare
We adjust the frame on collection so it sits level and comfortable, and we adjust it again free of charge whenever it loosens. Bring your glasses along at every future visit so we can check the fit alongside your vision.
Common questions
Can I use a prescription from another clinic?
Yes. Bring it with you. If it is older than two years we advise a fresh refraction first, since prescriptions change.
How long do glasses take?
Many prescriptions are dispensed the same day from stock. Specialised lenses such as high-index or progressive lenses take longer, and we confirm the timeline when you order.
